Detroit Opera House, Rebranded. 

 

The concept behind this partner project was to rebrand Detroit's Opera Experience to a strong working system that highlights old traditional values, while introducing a modern and contemporary feel. We utilized both old and new design styles to create one cohesive brand. Our promise was to honor and keep the current, older audience that the opera industry attracts while introducing fun and innovative new ways to invite in the younger generations as well. We achieved that by choosing an older deep blue color, paired with a pop of a pink/orange to represent the new. As well as an older more traditional typeface, paired with a new contemporary and clean modern sans serif. As for the audience, we chose to mockup a traveling arts tour bus - so that performances could happen in Downtown Detroits most prominent locations, bringing opera to the streets!
